And the answer is...
« on: October 12, 2012, 10:05:00 PM »
Im going hunting! That was the answer i gave, when my wife asked me to attend a wedding with her tomorrow between two people i barely know.
Im sure ill be in the dog house for a while, but DADBOBITT! hunting season only lasts so long! and responsibilities take away to much time as it is!
Im sure that was the wrong answer...... but im stil gonna be in the woods in the morning.   :bigsmyl:
I wont be hard to recognize though.....ill be the one with my butt in a sling, in the dog house out back.

It's answer I would have given.......2 people you hardly know   :dunno:   Enjoy your day afield!

Glad you made the decision to hunt tomorrow. Wife will get over it and the 2 people whom you hardly know will hardly miss you at the wedding.

Hope you connect with a nice deer!

As much as I like to hunt..I would go for my wife as much as it might be boring but later you can get many free passes to hunt and make wife happy to boot....happy wife means more toys and time to hunt and such but thats me...good luck though

I'd just grunt and then ask forgiveness on Sunday  :)

I guess that's still an answer of sorts.
Take a kid hunting!

Hopefully your wife is as understanding as mine. If not... you might want to take a tent and sleeping bag with ya.

You are a smart guy....this is exactly the place I would have come to get reassurance that going in the dog house will be worth it. Kill a big one tomorrow!!
A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight;nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety;is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

Everything has a price... you can pay now, or pay later. It will out come out in the wash....

The difference is..... you might be doing your own laundry for awhile.   :readit:

Ditto  Keep her happy and you wont have to sneek a new bow or other toy in she will bring it in for you.

I'm with Razorbak on this one. We do have 3 months here in NH and family really needs to come first...even if it is JUST your wife. I found that when the kids were in school and involved with sports we always made it to games. Never made much difference in my hunting success that I can recall.

My niece who is from a hunting family set her wedding date for the season opener, guess where about 50% of the guests were.
