good luck bud...this is my 1st yr using trad gear and I have set up ground blinds next to a few well used trails...so far, no deer but many turkeys and 1 fox...

I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

getting CLOSE!!!!! heard him grunting and chasing in the bean field. what a ruckus!!! either he was chasing another buck or trying to breed a doe as they smashed in to the think brush just above me me a couple times then back in the bean field. never got a look though.  after i got out of my stand  i walked a little ways down the hill and there is 2 fresh scrapes with in view of my stand now. its a chess game......
