Well, I got the pack today. It was waiting on my porch when I got home from work. I have not carried anything in it yet as I just adjusted the frame to fit and put it on. However, I can say without a doubt it is more comfortable than any pack I have ever worn. Probably due to it actually fitting correctly. It's waist belt is extremely padded and comfy, the shoulder straps are padded and actually stay on the inside of the shoulder like they are supposed to. And the sternum strap attaching the shoulder straps across the chest rides tit level like it is supposed to instead of up on the base of the neck like so many I have tried. All a direct reflection of the adjustable frame no doubt and it actually fitting correctly.
The zippers are heavy duty big meaty ones, with attached bungy tubes for easy rerieval and use. The webbing is sewed well and cross sttiched in areas that needs it. Everything is at least double stitched with what apperas to be a polyester or nylon thread, which is good. All in all as well constructed as any $300-400 Badlands, Blacks Creek, or Nimrod I have ever scrutinized or worn. I do believe it was a great investment.
Only time and use will tell, but this is shaping up to be a very good investment that I will truely enjoy and use a lot, Lord Willing. I have no reservations or second thoughts about buying another brand after finally getting my hands on it. With a Lifetime warranty, the construction of it, and the perfect fit due to the adjustable frame, I simply see no reasons to expect to ever need or use another for packing your first load of elk or a whole whitetail in one trip. I am simply tickled. Be nice to break it in Saturday. God Bless
