I just sent a good friend into one of my stands yesterday at noon, and he was able to harvest a beautiful basket rack 7 point just before 2. The buck was sneaking from one bedding area to another. With the way my work schedule is my philosophy is to get in as early as I can an stay as late as I can.

I was sitting 14 yards from a buck all morning and didn't even know it. He was bedded in a nasty little thicket near me. I never saw him the whole morning until he decided to wake up and get moving which was at 10:15am. My friend Tony was 40 yards the other direction and he didn't know he buck was there either! Two hunters within 50 yards of the buck and he stayed put for 3 and a half hours!
The bottom line was that he waited until mid-morning to get up and move. This was the 1st week of November when it happened.
