Where in east Texas are you? I believe there is a club in Tyler, and there is also a big shoot in Chester every year.

I've been on a big lease just east of Colmesniel for the last few years. When most of the locals see my recurves or long bows, you would think they just saw Bigfoot!

Welcome. I live out by Lake Sam Rayburn NW of Jasper. Unfortunately, we don't have any deer in ET. At least I haven't seen any since season opened.
The Chester Shoot is great and is held each year on the weekend after Mother's day. A great time for all.
