Questions about bear bows

I just got a bear 48" bear super mag. I did several searchs on brace height. Came up with from 6-3/4 to 9" Any body have one that could give me some better info ? The serial number on mine is 9x2265. Also what length string did you put on yours. Thanks Don     :campfire:

I had a '68 Super 48 and it shot nice at 8.75"
67" Hill Tembo, 50@27

Remember, a lot of people don't measure from the throat of the grip which is no doubt the discrepcency range you are expierencing.  Some measure from the back of the riser.  The bow will be in he 8-9 range from the throat, 7-8 from the riser.  God Bless
