PS: Always trust the dog. Its hard with pups until you gain confidence in them, I know. Guaranteed we mess them up more than we help them on track though.

Although all's well that ends well, I really messed up on my part of this one. I pulled the shot far right and ended up hitting just in front of the upper shoulder. That broadhead was stuck behind the shoulder and came out real hard. A good chance it was doing more damage as he was running/walking. All the blood you would expect to find in the chest cavity was under the skin and shoulder. YUCK!!!
