Yep

Are they Morrison limbs?  I have seen lots of Morrison bows with Canebrake skins and I love them dearly.

Thanks guys, yes, they are Morrison limbs. They were represented as Canebrake, but someone recently mentioned he did not think they were. Just wanted to get some opinions! Appreciate it.

Canebrake is a subspecies of Timber Rattler. Dorsal line is one of the indicators for Canebrake, so I would say they are Canebrake.

Don't bring those to Texas!! A warden will take your bow and leave you with a big fat ticket!

ChrisM,
You can have them in Texas legally. Just have a reciept showing an origin from somewhere other then Texas.

That is good to know if I ever head south, but I didn't get a receipt from the classifieds. No idea where the skins originated from :-) Guess I'll just stay North of the Red River.

goldflinger,
Canebreaks and / or Timbers are a listed species in many states. You should get some sort of paperwork showing a legal point of collection and origin.

Aren't you innocent until proven guilty? Let them prove you got them from Texas!

I like the way you think, but what a hassle the time and travel would be to go back for that court date to present your defense. Note to self, "take your whip if you ever hunt in Texas"   :biglaugh:
