Hey Gang,
If you were following my "bow build along" post, you probably read that South was building new static limbs for his "Original Riser".  If you didn't get a chance to read it, South decided to develop new static limbs for the "Original Riser" due to all of the positive feedback he got from his first set of static limbs that he built for the "Hybrid Riser".

Although it's not quite ready for production, I can answer any questions that you may have as my bow just arrived today.

I'll be posting some informal results in the next few days.

And yes, if you own the "Original Riser", these limbs will fit.  Although you will still need to send in your bow for slight modifications.

Thank you!
Ryan

So the bow came in today.  Here it is next to my wife's Hybrid Static Stalker.

Pre-stretched  the 8125 or shall I say removed some of the creep.

Tying on a few of my "necessities".

Now time for my informal testing.  I'll also try to compare it to my old 56" in Dynamic.

If I were to buy another bow right now it would likely be one of these.  Frankly the grip is the most intriguing thing to me. I'm wondering how similar it is to the Fox High Sierra?  I know a lot of the Oregon bowyers have similar influences but have unique differences as well.

Thanks Art,  thanks to you, I may be also experimenting with some string stuff for this bow.

Thanks Nathan.

Aaron,  I think I get more comments about my workbench then anything else in my archery arsenal.   Just yesterday, I got a comment, "nice bow, but what brand shelvings are those"  :D

Roy, I'm not familiar with Fox, so I wouldn't be able to compare. I'd be more than happy to take more pictures of the grip.  Just let me know.   I love the grip, even more because I was able to give South my input right there at the shop.    ;)

Andrew,  totally agree!!!

Aloha!

I was talking to Bill and found out that you were building the "MM" strings.  It was one of the quietest things I've ever used.  Now to practice....

Has South ever thought of putting a thin veneer on the belly of the riser to cover up the bolts?

Keith, I'll let South know your thoughts.

Hermon, Mountain Mufflers. It was a string that I used on one of my old bows. I just found out that Art built those.
