Two Hunters
« on: October 24, 2012, 12:21:00 PM »
Well, got up this morning and it was just beautiful.
Got settled in my tree stand and right after daylight I noticed another hunter in a tree about twenty yards from mine. As I sat there I was wondering who would get their quest first. As all was quiet he busted out of that tree and dove down in the corn field after (what I assume was a mouse) and he must have got it because after a while  the beautiful hawk returned to his perch.

I like watching hawks and owls while I'm hunting. Cool story.

Had me going for a bit! It is cool to sit in a tree and watch the day unfold in nature.

Very cool!  I had a bald eagle flying around me a couple of years ago, and it really made my day.  They are so fun to watch.

Ha ha. I've heard that same story a few times here in La but believe it or not it was actually two humans.

Good post!
