Thanks everyone. I really appreciate your comments. To answer one of your questions, I didn't have my Bullpac with me this time . . . so had to drag-em out. I just talked to my taxidermist about having the deer shoulder mounted. We have a room where only "special animals" are displayed and I believe that this guy qualifies.

In the excitement of yesterday's hunt I forgot that I had a game camera attached to a tree pointing toward a nearby scrape. It was also aiming through the woods to the base of my treestand. Photos show the buck with his leg forward just before I released my arrow. Moments later I'm on the ground surveying the sign!
