We set up our camp(16x16 mil. surplus tent) and leave it up until Jan.  It's about an hour away from home but it's easier than driving back and forth.

No, our season for mule deer is over. Our game and fish will not allow us to hunt deer during the rut or later. They say that we will kill ALL the big bucks. HA!! Darn fools!!

$36 deer permit, proposed to go up to $52 in 2014, and we have about the shortest season anywhere. Does not make sense! Sorry, just venting.

No late season deer camps here.

I use my cabin.  Before, when I used to have time, we always did late season doe hunting and muzzleloader season for 2-4 days a piece.  Hadn't for 10 years or so.  Now I have a job that will allow it again.  Real happy with it.  Praise the Lord!  God Bless

We do several camps in late november and december. We have a long deer season. Sept 15- Feb 28. And a 6 deer limit..
I will start hunting harder in the morning. Temp will be in the 30's finally and the deer are moving.. I have a lot of respect for you fellas that get it done with short seasons.
