Nice! I've got a few spots I hunt that it takes a kayak/canoe to get to and I enjoy hunting them. Paddling to them while full of anticipation is always a good feeling.

Once I hit land I knew I was in the right area with lots of deer sign and a heavy run trail so I found a tree with some brush around it, cleared out a spot and took a seat.I let out a few turkey clucks to cover my movement so that any onlooking deer might dismiss it and about ten tom turkey came walkin in.

As they went on their way they suddenly went on high alert and I knew something else must be coming.I rose to my knees and got ready.Suddenly i see a doe coming and she was coming fast. She passed by at about 40yds away and a nice high 8 point was giving chase.I tried to get them to slow down and then tried to get them to come back but not this time...

The wind started swirling in all directions thanks to Sandy closing in and I knew it was time to go,maybe next time.
On my way back down the river it was kinda scary having to paddle past this 12 footer.
