Field notes from Capt. Obvious

treestand hunting during a hurricane can cause nausea and extreme pucker.    :scared:

That's right, I did it.    :knothead:  Went up a nice pine tree last night in my climber and got a whole new perspective on hurricane Sandy.  I felt like a grasshopper on a cornstalk in a tornado.  I tried to suck it up, but after about 20 minutes I figured even if I could hold down my lunch and a deer presented itself, there was no way I was going to be able to stand and shoot.  I climbed down and sat down next to a tree.  Will try the ground blind approach again tonight, still pretty breezy...

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Probably a SINGULAR experience! Don't think I'll "go there".
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

I don't think I would have told anyone, I think you just left the door wide open.

Gringol,  I feel your pain.  A 20 mph wind checks my pucker factor!!  Sandy is due here Monday-I'll be in the house.

I've been known to simulate a windshield wiper in the past.
