Do you hunt with a tab or glove? Tell me your reasoning....thanks.

I use a tab while hunting because that's what I always shoot with . I never really liked gloves, but I'm sure they would be a little easier to use when you have gloves on when it's cold out.

I voted glove because thats what I'm using right now, but I think it's what ever you get used to and like.

I never felt like  a glove felt right. I have always shot tabs and never gave gloves a good chance though.

I've been back and forth and always come back to gloves.

I went with tabs, because I thought it would be tough to fit the fingers of a isulating glove into the archery glove and have it feel right.  The tab could just lay over it.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I attach Velcro to the fingers of a tight fitting glove.

I shot a glove for years then tried a tab and never looked back.I seem to get a better release with a tab and when I need to use my string hand for something like untying a knot I just slip the tab to the back of my hand.

I used a tab for the first few weeks of the season but I do not like the feel of a glove under my tab.  I will switch back to the glove now that it is getting colder.  I have the fingerless gloves with the mitten end that folds away and it is a little difficult to get my fingers ina and out with the tab.

Tab.

Too much trouble trying to get a glove out of the way doing the 62 other things you do when hunting besides shooting.

A glove worked fine for me, but a tab is more convenient.

Although I voted glove, it is not the kind you are thinking of. As you know Roger it can get mighty cold here in Michigan. So I usually have on a wool glove with a leather palm when hunting with the bow in hand unless it is to warm and go with the glove you are actually mentioning.

Tab is where it is at for me-I can flick it aside in a second to do other stuff with a glove you are stuck with it. I used a glove in the earlier days.

Same here..cept I've never used a glove other than just long enough to know I didn't like it when I first started out.

Also, I like a tab because on cold days it's easier to get my fingers warmed..either just in the pockets or with a chem hand warmer.

Tabs are cheaper to...or CAN be. If one gets sorta ruined/dried out from the rain I just get the other $8 tab..no biggie.

I do just the opposite of koops4. Glove in warmer weather and switch to a tab as the season progresses.

Switched to tabs last summer, been shooting better than ever! Make my own now, I can use my tab with a tight thin glove enough to keep the chill off my hand! I practice shooting that way all the time, plus I have an Asbell wool vest I keep a handwarmer in my left pocket I love those Asbell vest pockets very roomy! I used a glove in the past fingers always got real cold maybe I am just getting old! LOL

Glove here, just can't get used to a tab, it always feels like I'm holding onto something, the glove just feels like part of my hand,

Started with a glove, switched to tabs for awhile, and then went back to the glove. It just feels more natural when I grip the string and I like the protection.

I voted glove bc that's what I shoot best with.  I tried the black widow tab but could not shoot acurately.  It could be bc the tab is so thick I have no "feel" of the string. I may do better with another tab, but I think I'll stick with the glove for now.  Maybe I'll try again after seasons over.

Tab! I have the Bateman tab with elastic ! It slips over finger on glove. All good ! The index finger pocket on the glove always twists so quite use a glove. Maxx
