While there have been a few I said I would never trade or sell and did, I think I can safely say that I will never trade or sell my GN Fireball jackknife, 62", 51#@29". Shoots well for me and I just like shooting it.

I recently bought a Dale Arner takedown Longbow off Kimba.  It is a wood feast, gorgeous and a shooter.  I contacted Dale to learn more about the bow.  Turns out it was the first takedown he ever made and he made it for himself and shot it for a year before passing it on.  How cool is that?  It is an absolute keeper for me.  2nd to that is probably my Miller Old Tom and 3rd my Holm Goshawk.

Neither of my Predators, neither of my Treadway black Swamp, not my black widow SA,not my first self bow. Had a Great Plains that I killed many deer  with and gave to my son, i guess its gone now, would not have let it go. years ago sold a Bear Bruin that I killed my first deer with, sold it, and wished I'd never let it go.
its me, against me.

All of mine are for sale if the price is right. There are so many good bowyers out there making great products that nothing is irreplaceable. Besides, it's the guy shooting the bow that counts.

Never say never, but I would sure hate to see my Appalachian Archery Middle Mountain LB go down the road. Back when I shot those other bows and got burned out on gadgets, a friend loaned it to me to try and put the spark back into archery. It worked, he sold me the bow, and it is still the one I compare all others to.

It would be my first custom Big River and not because it was my first.  If I 'have' to make a shot that is the bow I pick up.  It just fits me and is not picky about what arrows go thru it.  66" R/D 60@28 Coco and Myrtle.
