VPA terminator blood trail
« on: October 31, 2012, 08:08:00 PM »
Blood trail from a VPA Terminator 175. Hog kill from yesterday. The ground is light colored sand. Blood trail only 30 yards long. Awesome broadheads! Passed thru all but the fletching on a quartering away shot 25 yards.

They are awesome.  I had a pass through on a deer and she walked 50 feet, not yard, laid down and quietly expired

That looks like impressionist art. You could probably sell that to some rt collector.

Seriously, that is a lot of blood on a blood trail. I;m planning on using these heads (in 250) on Turkey this fall and the VPA penetrator on pigs. That one has already proved itself.

Do people in Leweyanna shoot hogs on their patio?

Just kidding.  I used to be a fan of 3 blade heads when I just bowhunted deer.

I hunt by myself, so... my bow is the hero I guess. Killed one of these out of Big Jim's ground hunter seat and snuck up on the other one about 20 minutes later.

  Congratulations!
Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

Bow is a Bob Lee 62" I bought 3rd hand from a guy on here. It was made in 1998. 57# @ 29" I'm kinda hard on stuff - the day before I managed to cut my string and nick a limb with a machete... Fortunately I had a spare string with me. Camped out in a tent traveled by canoe miles from anywhere.

Arrows CX heritage 150's with 50 gr brass inserts and VPA 175 gr heads. around 31" long.
