Youth bow pass on (Maddog Pup)
« on: November 01, 2012, 12:59:00 PM »
Y'all guys remember those Vermonster and Mike Mercedy youth bows that were given away for so long.  I was blessed with one of them critters, well, my son was.  Deal was, shoot it till you can't then send it along.

Anywho, with much reservation on the part of Joe (my youngest), its time to pass that critter along.  It is a lefty 20#@20".  My son now has a 30# Bear longbow, so its time for the Pup to RUNNOFT.

Terry OK'd this to be on the PowWow forum since it was for the youngens.

If you have a left handed kiddo that needs a bow, post up.

This is what its all about guys...

Joe will pick a winner in a week or so depending on the response.

Good Luck!

God Bless,

Nathan

Thanks Nathan for doing as promised, I hope to see more of them coming around for a second tour of duty.

I've been out of circulation a bit but just posted a new youth bow giveaway in Z-Giveaways just now.

Kip, you will be in the hat.  My boy started shooting this bow when he was 4.

My twins got their pups for their birthday this year. They turned 4 and said they needed bows like Daddy shoots. What a great way to keep the spirit alive!

This why I am glad I found tradgang and traditional archery,I recently switch to trad only I have fallen in love,my daughter has been shooting with me since she was 2 (wheely bows),recently i relize she is left eye dominate and wears a patch to shoot,I know thats not the solution, switching to lefty is,This bow would give her a chance to get into traditional with me.i i promise that when she outgrows it I will PASS IT ON ,in the same manner. Thanks Roy

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Way to go!
These are great bows for youth to get started with.  Dave and Mike are also great for for getting this all rolling.
Enjoyed the pictures!  Wish I had some of my son, when he started.
He's now in Afghanistan.  I have his custom made Kalomie and some special arrows, waiting for his return in Feb.
Keep those kids with Traditional Archery, and they'll love the challange for life.

My daughter, Sara Beth is 8 years old, and she is left handed. Please put her name in the drawing, she has been asking for a bow. Thanks for the chance and I will be sure to pass the bow along when she out grows it.
