Buffalo Bow
« on: November 01, 2012, 03:42:00 PM »
I receive few days ago a beautiful longbow from the Big guy in Georgia.
Thank you Jim for that beauty: only cocobolo and springbok horn
Not bad indeed     :goldtooth:

Fair performer as well with the quite heavy reflex design:

Vertical and torsional stability of the limb is excellent and i am right in the sweet spot at full draw, close to 32".

This week end i was fortunate to put first blood on that wonderfull bow: in a free range mountain hunt i shot a Corsican Ram (and a very good one !!): 14 yrd shot, 120 yrd recovery with a BJ 3 blade broadhead as well

That bow has the MOJO

What is the meat like? I have never eaten any type of goat or sheep. Like pork or beef?
Incredible looking bow!

"Fair performance" .......... I'll say. 180 fps with a 705 gr. arrow! Probably had a nice flat trajectory AFTER it flashed through the ram.
Congratulations on the ram AND the bow.
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!
