painfull miss
«

Had him broadside at 15 yards and shot right over his back. Combination of things....... most likely not enough concentration. Oh and not bending at the waist aaaaaaand not hitting anchor and...... the fact that I was freakin out!
Hope I get another crack at him. Three days off next week and love should be in the air.

The kind of miss that can haunt you for a life time, however it is still a hunting memory, and that is not a bad thing. Hope you get another crack at him.

Don't feel bad at all. The worst thing you can do is fret about it. Just laugh about it and worry about the next one. I'm saying all of this cause I missed this afternoon lololol. I shot right over a bucks back too. Oh good times.

I blew a chip shot on nice buck the first morning this year. Just having the opportunity made my season.
Good luck getting him next week!

I feel for you... but in solidarity, I shot over the back of a buck in Sept... it stung!
That buck of yours is a true monster. Good luck on getting back after him!
