I have used the Dura Glove and liked it but if you shoot alot there may not be enough finger protection for bows over 60 pounds. You sure can feel the string. I also use and prefer the grizzly shooting glove over the Dura Glove. In my opinion the Grizzly seems a little better quality.

I tested the Dura Glove before it became available. I used to shoot nothing but Super Gloves with the Cordovan. All of my bows are 65# and I like the Dura glove because of the feel you get on the string. The glove is very soft and the finger stalls have a very slick surface for release. They seem to get slicker with wear.

I use the Dura Glove. I like to feel the string and I hunt with a thin pair on deer skin gloves so that is the closest shooting glove that I can find to practice with.

Thanks for the info guys, I shoot 51 - 53# bows and use a damascus now,I have no finger hurt using the damascus(even pressure on the fingers is the key for me)was hoping to get a smoother release with one of the newer gloves with synthetic tips-I do like to get a good feel of the string though-I am 60 years old and have been shooting since i was 7or8-now i have arthritus in my shooting fingers and trying the best i can to compensate one way or the other. CAM

My dura glove has made it one year with 200 plus shots at least, per week .. I waxed my tips and it made it even better.. I rewax about once a month ..

You might want to try the "skookum" glove. Its seems to me that its a little sicker than the Dura-glove. I seem to get a better release with it than the dura-glove.

I like them, but I've worn the second one out....this year.
Seems they just start to fray, and within a couple of months, they go in the "old glove bucket". Yes, I shoot every day.
