Been working everyday Tripper so I can't tell You any good news. I haven't seen many deer this week off the road.

I'm taking next week off hope I time it right.

Good luck if You make it out.

Not yet....       I'm heading out on the 15th.  Last year we hunted the 1st week of November and it was pretty quiet.  Hopefully we called it right going a week later...   :dunno:

Mostly does and small bucks moving. Sunday morning did have a decent 8 and spike both following a doe but wouldn't say chasin'.  Heading out Saturday to deer camp for a week.  With a little weather moving in maybe that will kickstart the action.

I've seen three different bucks chasing does. The first two were on Sunday the 28th and the latest one was Monday the 5th.

Sorry to say Tim but I've seen a few mature bucks chasing and cruising. I still think you'll be here at the peak though!

I'm still not seeing anything close to the rut. Does are still with the fawns and just small bucks. Did see one average buck following a doe with twins and when he got within 50 yards they took off and he did not pursue. Only found one set of scrapes and they are just dust. I think it will be within the next week.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

I just came off nights today and checked a few cams, several new bigger bucks and lots of new scrapes. This scrape had 6 different bucks hit it including this guy.

My brother went with me and at one of our new spots while we were checking the cam a big shooter buck we call stickers cam busting through the brush chasing a doe right by us. Here he is, the wind was all wrong or I would of hunted there tonight.

A few others this week. It's getting close to busting lose    :D

Good luck guys!

Tracy

My brother and I are headed up to Greenwood county tomorrow, set up day on Saturday, supposed to rain and temperature drop on Sunday.  Look out Monday, cold and clear, looks like an all day sit. By all rights next week should be game on...RW

I've seen no chasing yet, besides the little ones but they don't count. I watched 3 really nice bucks working scrapes last weekend. I'd say you should be golden.

It aint kansas but here in eastern CO they're just starting to cruise. I saw a big ole doe i've watched all year long and she's seperated from her two fawns now.... you know what that means  :)
