They released me from the hospital the day before I was scheduled to leave for camp. The doctor said he couldn't keep me from going but he strongly recommended that I stay home for awhile close to a good hospital just in case I had a recurrence of my problem.
At first I was going to go anyway but then I thought I'd better not. I haven't missed going to deer camp at Shrew Haven in the 21 years that I've had it so it was tough staying home, but knowing the guys were up there doing their thing made it easier somehow. They would call me every day and tell what was going on.
Greg's wife Dianne was in camp with Greg the week before the other guys came up and she killed her FIRST deer with her Shrew Classic Hunter on her SIXTY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!
