SparrowHawk Landed in Jersey
« on: November 15, 2012, 06:47:00 PM »
I got this beautiful Sparrowhawk from Vince awhile ago , but with the storm shutting me down for weeks and figuring out the new Photobucket I've been delayed in sharing it.

She's 66" and 50@28. Bocote riser/overlays and 5 lams of Boo with brown glass in the limbs. The brown glass looks sweet with the Bocote, a perfect combo.

This is such a smooth bow! Light in hand, quick, no noticeable hand-shock, excellent pointing and dead accurate. A superior bow in every way.

My other 2 pc bows are carbon sleeve type, which I really like, but I'm impressed with the hinge. It's easy, no tools or lubricants, fits together perfectly, solid, and feels just like a 1pc when shooting.

I've been wanting a Mohawk for a couple years and this one was a B-Day gift to myself this year. I'm extremely happy with it. Vince's work is flawless and the finish is perfect.

Thank you Vince for an awesome bow!     :clapper:

Very nice!
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Love the bow!  And you know I love anything with Bocote in it!  These hawks caught my attention when RC started shooting them.  Congrats on the new bow!
