My First Traditional Harvest
« on: November 18, 2012, 08:40:00 AM »
I had a good morning Saturday. I got in my stand just at daylight and at 7:30 two does and a spike came down the trail and stopped 15 yards from my stand.  I shot the lead doe and she only ran about 40 yards.  It was also opening day of gun season here in Alabama.  That made it even better.

Good for you. Those southern woods look very inviting. I'm liking your 'camo', too.

Congrats, she's a nice doe. Gun opener here as well except no does allowed on WMA so me and my longbow just watched em feed by! What's your specs on your killin gear?

Congrats on the slickhead! Opening day of the gun season never really means that much to me. It's just another day of bowhunting for me.

Congrats on your first trad harvest!
