Ok! This calls for some drastic measures. Take a look at these and see if you can resist wantin to make some arrers.    :campfire:

Then read "A Thousand Camp fires" By Jay Massey. It  might not help with the physical ailments, but could go a long ways towards helpin with the delirium I think you are experiencing.    ;)
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

We're all gonna chip in and get a Penobscot crossbow made for ya Mickey. It'll be called a Dryve-by Sheepbeater.

Meantime, cinch up that plaid loincloth and get back into the fray. Your neighbors' azaleas are counting on YOU!

Geez Mickey, I just saw this.......things started running through my head....I have to offer him some bows to use, give him a choice between an older, (50"s) Bear bow, or an osage selfbow......gotta change my vacation plans and make it to Ohio right now to visit, so many things to take care of......makes me realize what's important in life.....people like you!

Get feeling better Mickey, hold back the urge. Fiberglass will make you itch. I mess with it some myself but it is hard to beat a plain old piece of wood. Here I will give you something else to focus on

Ferret,
I'm not a doctor, but that sounds a heck of a lot like pluracy.  That is an inflamation of the lining around the lungs. It recurrs from time to time, making it hard to breath.  I worked with a guy that had that and he had some rough bouts, but faired pretty well.  I hope you are ok.  Hang in there and don't sell out!!  :bigsmyl:

How else am I gona' learn to build self bows? Your like the Yoda selfbow maker of SW Ohio.  :notworthy:  Don't go to the dark side master.

Get better,
Charlie

Praying for you as well buddy.

Dang KC that's a heck of a log...look how straight it is on the outside, although that center cluster would worry me a bit. How did it split out?

Things I need to ask the doc about..Lymes disease, lung infection, pluracy, any more? ha ha

Thanks again all, Dianne and I are humbled by your outporing of caring.

Mick,

Have em test for all the things we get exposed too.  Lyme's, West Nile, Rocky Mt. Spotted fever etc.

Don't know if you got em but heck it might be fun getting tested.  Anyway Dianne can put on a nurse uniform and take care of ya.  That's not all bad.

LOL

Give me a call when ya get a chance.
