Love shooting with my kiddos
« on: November 19, 2012, 05:33:00 PM »
I just wanted to say. That there is nothing better than shooting you bows together as a family. My son is 5 and my daughter is 9. They share a longbow. So Isabel is getting a recurve for christmas. I think I am more excited than she is. We were all out back shooting at the hog and they were having soo much fun.

We have a local archery range that just opened up this yr. So I think we are going to join it at the first of the year. I'm looking forward to taking the kids and shooting a full course of 3d targets. They are going to love it.

Thats all I have. I just wanted to share my story with ya'll. When the kids get to fussing and fighting you can take them out back and put some arrows in the target and they get along great  :)

I sure know what you're talking about. My daughter is 21 and my son is 19. They followed me thru the woods slinging arrows at everything, until they got older. I sure miss those days. Enjoy them while you can and don't forget to take some pics!

Where is Bracey, VA?

My 8 year old boy loves shooting his Mad Dog longbow!  He wants to go squirrel hunting with it, but I need to find him some cheaper arrows first.  ;)
