Just got back from my annual trip to the land of oz. Hunted hard for 11 days and saw alot of deer, some really good ones, as well. I shared camp with a couple of good buddies ate great and really enjoyed my time off. I was really trying to kill a good one this year so I passed alot of really nice young bucks. My only shot oppurtunity was on a 145" 10 pt. that I rattled in. Of course, he didn't read my script and only offered me a long shot around 26 yrds that I barely missed low on. I was blessed to take these 2 does to bring some meat home. The second one I took the morning before I left after a bout of food poisoning. I was as weak as a kitten and was very thankful that she ran back across the creek and died where I could drive right up to her! I used my trusty Centaur with WW heads on goldtip shafts. God Bless.
