This afternoon my daughter Brianna was dying to get out of the house.  Well, we grabbed the bows and went for a walk.  We were hoping to run into some squirrels, but we were having so much fun stump shooting that we forgot all about them.

We spent about three hours in the woods, and she kept telling me how much fun she was having.  I've been working out-of-state so it was wonderful having the afternoon together.  She keeps asking me when she can get her license.  I might just have a hunter on my hands.

We ran into a rub down along the swamp...

Then went to check on one of my stands that I hadn't visited in a while...

And as we looped our way back to the truck, we had our best stump of the day.

I've hunted less this year than I have in the past five years because of work, but no way would I have traded this afternoon for one in the stand!  I love my little girl.

Great to see.  I prefer stumping to most things.  All the better with good company.    :archer:

Great day indeed and she will always remember that you took the time and let her come along and shoot with her Daddy...That is way better then watching t.v. or playing a video game anyday...

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
