Cane Arrows (by a Master Arrowsmith - Pics)

Thought you folks might like to see some pics of some Cane arrows that Art Butner of WV made for me. Trust me, these are works of "Art", no pun intended (well maybe a little ). I am so pleased with these fifteen arrows. I have made Cane arrows and love the way Canes shoot and hold up, but Art's put mine to shame in all aspects. Bless your heart, Art, and your skill and patience.

Four are "Hunters" with tied on fletching and extra footing, and three of those are headed with his own handmade Trade BHs also.
These arrows are "Spot Seeking" buggers, as long as I do my part properly. They make me want to be better - :D

And while I'm at it here are some new Arrow racks I have just started using. they are old, stackable, plastic thingies that we used to use for other storage purposes, and don't need for that anymore. They work great and hold pleanty, as you can even put two arrows in a hole without crowding the fletches. Also on the front (whitch is now the back) they slant outward and have rectangular slots which are just right for arrows with broadheads. I made that the back to keep me from sticking my foot under there and slicing off a toe or two  .

Man! Those are awesome! They're almost too purty to shoot, but bein made from cane I know they can take some abuse too.

Man, my hat's off to Art. Those are gorgeous. Gotta be some serious mojo in cane.

Thank you all (for me and Art) and I agree with what all of you have said. I could not say enough about Cane arrows to begin with - and Art's are above and beyond. (BTW mine are in the rack on the left right behind his - trying to soak up a little class - :D ) I hope to hunt Deer with them at least, at some point during this season.
Yep, I used to work at Dave Camp's Archery, part-time for about 4 years, and still go in and out of there to visit him.
