New to Greenville, SC
« on: November 26, 2012, 05:32:00 PM »
It's been some time since I posted.  Life just got awful busy like it sometimes does.  I retired in July from my previous job that involved frequent moves and lots of time on-the-road.  After 28 years with the company the missus and I knew it was time to put down some roots.  We'd previously lived in Charleston and Columbia, SC and enjoyed the state so when a job came up in Greenville we jumped at the opportunity.

So here I am, a rookie high school teacher, with my bride of 26 years...having our very first house built in nearby Simpsonville, SC.  We should have our household goods delivered here by February and I'll string up my son's bow (my shoulder won't yet let me string my own) and get back into shooting.

Any trad archers in the Greenville area interested in getting together over a cup of coffee?

I live in Anderson which isn't to far from simpsonville although I don't drink coffee.

Rusty will you keep me on mind next time the group gets together to shoot? I would to get together with some people from the area.

Welcome Rodger!  Look forward to seeing you at the events.  There are a few of us that live in the Simpsonville area.  What school are you at?
