Green isn't always the best color for me but I just can't help myself this time...lol
Yes Shawn, I am jealous!!
That bow is a looker and it's grace shows in the full draw picture.
Looking at these photo's hasn't helped my "DT's" caused by not being in a financial place where I can play the bow swap/buy game I so enjoyed a few years back.
Congratulations little buddy!!
God bless,Mudd

Im surprised Jd would build a stringfollow bow. Iv had 2 from a well known bowyer the gain in shootability or stability and they were well made exellent bows was not worth the perfomance lost .there have been advancements in bow. Design by forward thinking bowyers. That have no handshock are quiet and fast. Imho.

Its a by product of market demand. People are requesting string follow American semi longbows and James is one of the best, so why not offer what the market demands?!

My wife told me I had to wait till next year to order an Apollo. If all the string follow ocds get on this, I will be too old to hunt by the time Berry gets to my Apollo.

Lol pavan. I feel for ya. I have a taipan and have always wanted an apollo. But i been hung up on these straight end bows now for several years. So now i spend alot of my time talking james "jdberry"into breakin out some of the old straight end bow forms from way back lol. Great thing is he is really startin to like straight ends now. So who knows whats next. Who knows what forms hes still got hid back from way back. Been building bowsfor over 30 years so he got some accumulated im sure.

Well I broke down. I have owned string follow before, but never a reflexed and string follow at the same time so I talked to James tonight and put an order for a Misty Dawn. It will be a bowers surprise . I told James (I trust his choices and skills) to just make it and send it out, so I'll let you all know te woods and glass when I get it. !!!

James berry was way ahead of everyone years ago. One of my most memorable hunts was with a r d bow he built for me.in fact he used a Photo of me on his website with the boar I got in southern Humboldt.I wouldnt want anyone to think james isn't a forward thinking bowyer. Stringfollow bows are in demand. And and one built by him would be hard to beat.

Very well put Arrow. And after shooting his Vixen he has put a lot of ingenuity into this bow, and yet it looks as classic as they come. My Misty Dawn should be here by Monday or so

Rob his r/d bows are awesome. My taipan is over 5 years old and was my first berry bow. Its one bow i have that will never go anywhere. Lol people have offered me more than it cost me to have it made and still wont sell it. Any bow he builds whether it be one of his r/dor one of his american styles, Theyre all amazing. Gotta say james builds a great bow
