camo question??? Favorite
« on: November 30, 2012, 04:42:00 PM »
Im kicking around the idea of making various items, bags, quivers etc as usual but ... making some in camo..

curious.. because I am a PREDATOR Spring green fanatic..  then Fall brown.. (some others are okay) but thats my end all be all..
Green deception is good.. and I like Sitka gear forrest pattern ok... and of coarse ASAT

What would YOU like to see some accessories made from?

I personally think Sitka needs a boonie hat bad!!! lol
Predator needs more packs and vests in spring green!!!

I think Im going to start making some stuff!!
at least when I have time from making the museum stuff and have time   :)

Predator spring green or fall grey if I'm not wearing wool which is 99% of the time. A predator haversack would be cool. Your work is phenomenal!  Steph took over my Fowlers bag and it is now her purse.

I agree with above, and any lighter camo. A lot of moderns are so darn dark, you see them from far away and its a big black blob.
I love the old brown camo used by waterfowlers too.

I resently made a back quiver from spring green material.. and a haversack lined with fleece..
Got some fall browm im playing with now..

Im also working on a long (to the knee) wrap shirt that is big,, can be worn over lots of layers etc... sort of like a riflemans frock of the rev war era... can be used when its hot as one layer or over any number of modern layers,, even a orange ski jacket LOL.. the ultimate cover all..

Predator Fall Brown is my favorite. After that I like plaids as well as anything else I've used.

Ultimate camo. It's the first and only pattern I've ever worn and not been busted by a turkey at less than 20 yards.

Predator Fall. The best camo I have ever used while hunting from a treestand. The deer look through you and not at you.

I have always had a fetish for autumn KOM. But, rather than the horizontal pattern, why not use the material vertically.

Now, that would be bad.
