Dig my trad outfit in 1950
« on: December 03, 2012, 04:20:00 PM »
Obviously I had good taste, warm wool plaid coat and hat with ear flaps. Probably asking Santa for a longbow outfit like Howard Hill shot.

The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

No comment on t he first part of the quote...you MD boys are always a bit "different" ---   :saywhat:

But at that age, stripes do(did)SO go with plad...probably a short sleeve shirt under that coat anyway...

I was around in 50, but not quite that tall yet I don't think!  At least not in long britches yet!

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
