I have an old black & white pix somewhere of me at about 6-7 pulling back a bow. Wish I could find it!!!!
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

Back in the 50s all kids looked like that lol. And don't forget the green rubber boots in winter. At least 1-2 sizes bigger so you could wear at least 2 pair of wool socks lol.
