I believe from reading this forum on a regular basis, "Bisch" is the Texas hog expert and has killed many over the last several years. I would contact him for advise.

I took snake protection the first time.   I spent so much time crawling around and under things chasing pigs that I was as likely to get bit on the eyebrow as anywhere snake boots or chaps would cover.  Thus the snakebite kit.  This will be my fifth trip to hunt pigs in Texas, and so far I haven't seen a single snake while hunting.

Flashlight, absolutely!  I carry two.  So used to having them, I didn't even list them.  Ditto for the sharpeners.  I carry a dog bone ceramic and a coarse diamond hone everywhere.

Tweezers and a needle are a great idea!  Coulda used those last time...

This will be my first hunting trip wearing glasses, so I guess I should pack a strap for them and a cleaning cloth...

Couple knives and a sharpener.  Water, and power bars.  Good camo and sharp/heavy broadheads from a quick bow.

Glenn's deer handle to drag out the beast.
Most religions teach that you earn salvation by keeping rules. Jesus didn't teach that "good people" go to heaven. He taught that "forgiven people" go to heaven. And He invited everyone, no matter what their past, to come to Him and be forgiven.
