LIMBS STOLEN DRYAD ORION ACS-CG LONGS
« on: December 05, 2012, 06:20:00 PM »
A customer has reported that a set of Orion boltdown ACS-CG limbs.  SN# L120057 marked 54#@30.5"

This was a custom set of limbs we built earlier this year and were stolen from the mail on the way to Canada.

If you see them on any site for sale please give me a call and we will take action.

Thanks,

Mike

If they were in the mail, is it possible they have been lost and not stolen ? Have had it happen once to me, fortunately the bow turned up a couple weeks later....

Nope the package was recieved and the limbs were gone.  Upon investigation you could see the cut in the triangle box and retape.  Someone took them out in transit.

there are few things in the world that I dispise more then thieves.  Here in Texas we "hang em, it will teach em a lesson".

How much is the plight of man incurred by his own kind? A shame, no doubt, when the surprises of this world are found in kindness of the few.

Hopefully, the limbs will emerge unscathed.

Based on what has been stated about the disappearance of the limbs, it sounds like a postal employee may be the culprit. I hope Postal Inspectors are making an investigation of this theft. That is assuming they were sent USPS.

That sucks man, I've ordered several things through the mail without inceident and recently ordered a hammock,  it was rolled up and delivered in a long box.  When I received it, it was obvious some one opened up the end of the package to see if anything valuable was in it. I'm just glad it wasn't one of my bows I've recently had delivered.

watching,,,,, ALSO everyone its all over the news here in Mass there are people following delivery trucks and then watching where the guy leaves packages and then running up to the house and stealing the packages from right there or where ever he hides them,,,,,, if you know your at risk there you need to demand, pay extra, whatever you have to do have your stuff delivered to your work or it needs to be signed for so they don't just leave it.
its typical thieves and a seasonal thing for them but also its folks who are broke and in hard times looking for presents,,, I know it stinks but be alert.

Enroute to Canada?  Possible opening of the pkg. by the Canada Customs to verify contents.
