Show Me Your Backquivers!
« on: December 05, 2012, 07:36:00 PM »
Thinking about a large back quiver for chasing bunnies....my rabbit arrows are a mish mash of different diameters, so my beloved GFA won't work (the gripper).

Nate Steen , Sunset Hill

Craig Ekin , Howard Hill

and maybe, as I wear it as a back quiver,  the best option of all ? Holds a bunch of arrows too , just the ticket for bunnies !

The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Made this one last year.  Followed the quiver in the how to section.  Wish I would have used a thinner leather, but works great.  Also made a matching quiver for my son.

Dave Creger....second pic is John Schulz (from 1977). The Schulz heavy latigo will outlive me...the softer Creger is my hunting backquiver, Schulz for small game and roving.
