I made a few of these.  I now have another idea I am anxious to try.  Will try to get a picture of it up latter.

Here is the only one I can find on my computer now:

This one is home made with Elephant skin.

It's up for a trade along with a bow and armguard done with the same skin...

Here's one I made several years ago. I still use it quite a bit. I wish I would have used a bit softer leather. Well, maybe next time.

Actually, the bow and arrows are home made as well. That was my first bow. Also many years ago.

There is no way I can reach back over my shoulder to pull or worse, (too old and stiff) put back arrows...so I got into this "open design".

In thick stuff, I can slide it under my arm like a side quiver. The open access doesn't require much movement!

Hill style quivers.  Howard Hill and Drumbstick.  Morning stumping with buddy ChrisM.

Hill style quiver, Drumbstick Archery.  Sunset Hill Longbow.  Quiver was built for me in 1987.  Still hunting today.  Good leather, last a lifetime or more.  Keep them moist with pitchblend, snow seal, or mink oil.

Here are two more.  One I made, should be easy to see which one, and the other I am repairing for a friend.  I sure enjoy seeing everyone's quivers!

Larry Surtees not only made this one, but made it for his son.  When Chris died, Larry gave it to me and this was the result of the 1st time I hunted with it.....don't get any better folks.....

Terry, that's a great looking quiver that Larry Surtees made. And a mighty fine looking group of ringnecks you have there. Good shooting too. Boy do I miss chasing those rascals. We just don't have any around my way anymore.
