I haven't spent near as much time on the site in the past few years.  There was a time before when I was on this sight daily.  With work and life being busy (and me having to travel alot) I haven't had time to shoot my bows or even hunt as much as I would like to.  I started kicking myself recently for not taking the time to lose myself in the stress relieving joy of traditional archery.  I have been reading posts off and on for a little while now and realized how much I missed the wealth of knowledge and kindness from my fellow tradgangers.  This truly is a special place.  Folks, don't take for granted what we have here. I'm back on the hook! God bless!

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

A squirrel hunt with my son and the trad bows last weekend has helped rekindle the fire.  We're gonna try and go this evening and if so I will get some pics posted.

Unfortunately this is also stoking the fire for my enquentiable thirst for new bows.  What do yall think Mohawk Sparrowhawk or Seven Lakes Carolina Nignt.    :bigsmyl:

I was just noticing that I (member # 79) had posted a reply on the Bowyer's Bench forum right next to a guy who was member #37,274. We have over 37,000 members now? We've come a long way in 8+ years.
