$ 50 knife (Green Moon)
« on: December 07, 2012, 09:05:00 AM »
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. It came a couple of weeks ago, from "Andersen Forge". It's the "Swan River Fighter", ( I can't do pics), but it's on Karl's site. ("Andersen Forge, pic's galery 13, the 3rd one listed I think). The knife is unreal, the service excellent, came with a sheath, case and a letter of authenticity, very professional.
 And I got change for my 50 bucks
 To keep it short, a month ago we had a big horse race, Melbourne Cup, over 2 miles, and worth over 5 mill AUS. US bred horse (Americain) won it 2years ago, and was one of the favourites again.
 I stuck my $50 (25 each way) on "Green Moon" . Well at $20.60 win and $6.80 place, it was "money for jam", picked up $685. So while going through Karls site I seen the Swan River Fighter, aka, Green moon, I had to have it.
 And got change for my $50 to boot.  :biglaugh:

Read the story.  A $26 bet plus travel yielded $585 in the kitty.     :D

For the rest of us it would be $50 less to spend on stuff!     :archer:

He made two $25.00 bets = $50.00 and won enough to pay for the knife and had some change left over.
When he told me the story, I just had to laugh.
Now I can say I sold a knife to "Daniel Boon(e)"!
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Gee, Daniel, now you can pull that sucker out anywhere in Aussie land and say, "Knife, you call that a knife...THIS   :bigsmyl:   is a knife!"
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
