Applying New Velcro Rest
«
on:
August 17, 2007, 10:01:00 PM »
Just put a new Velcro rest on my 56" Grizz. I did put it right up against the sight window plate. I noticed a slight kick in my arrow flight. Should there be a small space between the two.
THANK YOU,
Mike

Some may say you need a space, but from the high speed photos I've seen of arrows passing the the bow, I don't see the need.
I know I put mine right against the arrow plate and don't have any problems.
I suspect something else is going on.

THANKS Charlie
I also put on a new dacron string when I got the bow yesterday. Maybe have to re-adjust brace height or nock ?
Thanks,
Mike

I agree with Charlie that it's probably not the new rest material. Like you mentioned, you should probably check your brace height since the new dacron string may had stretched a bit.

Yup, what Mr. Lamb and Ric said. I leave a space but only because that was the way I was taught. It sound like Brace or nocking point. Shawn
