I have 2 Dwyers and my wife has 1, great people, great quality, nice shooting bows, theirs is as good as anyones bows, i doubt you could find anyone on here who has anything bad to say about Dwyer Longbows. Buy one you wont regret it.  Dave

I had a 68 inch orginal longbow, most quiet longbow I have ever shot, very smooth, while I sold it then next time I bought a longbow it ended up being a 66 in. orginal.  I could have bought any longbow on the market the second time around, the first time was by accident, the Dwyers showed up at the Coon Rapids Shoot and I had money to spend, liked the longbow and bought it, decided it was too long haa haa, but several years later like I said I went back to Dwyer, quality all around.  You will get a very nice looking and shooting longbow if you go with a Dwyer.

Had the Dwyer Endeavor, sold it, but it was a very very nice bow.  Dave makes a wonderful longbow the endeavor being a radical r/d version.  The fit and finish are top notch in the industry and the customer service is superb.

You can not go wrong with a Dwywer, they are very fast.  Dave's bows ahve an incredible fit and finish, his limb tips are works of art.  the Defiant is his most popular, but all his bows are fantastic.  He is a great guy to buy from, shoot with, hang with etc.  He may have about a 9 to 12 month wait list, but he usually has a few stock bows around.  I have shot them all,not a bad one in the bunch.

I have since become a Hill style guy and do not shoot Dwyers any more.  However, if you are looking for a R/D bow I would definately consider a Dwyer.  Heck give him a call, he is a great guy and may even set up an appointment for you to stop over and shoot a while.

Great bows !!! My son had a Defiant and shot the pants off most men with it, including me !!! The tips are true works of art. I like short longbows but if I was in the market for something over 60" I would lean heavily toward a Dwyer. JMHO...  :coffee:

I have shot the original longbow a lot and the defiant.  I like the original better.  It seemed to outperform the defiant.  Really nice bows.

Ditto on Dwyer's. Awesome bows and people to work with. I sold mine with the clause if he ever were to sell it I get first dibs. I got it back, he wasn't really wanting to sell it but he knew how much I wanted it and was gracious to accomodate me. I love mine and will not ever sell it again. Dwyer Defiant, 55#@28" 60" it shoots awesome and beautiful to boot.

I have a Dauntless and an Endeavor. Both bows are just awesome. Fit and finish is great. They shoot very, very well. Pretty much all I shoot anymore.

I've been very fortunate to own three awesome bows. A Dwyer Dauntless is one of them. Dave is great to work with.

Great people and great bows.  The only longbow that I have held on to is a Dwyer.

Just picked up the Endeavor and i am blown away with every aspect of the bow. The finish is fantastic and the bow shoots like a dream come true. Like everyone else has said, you wont go wrong with a Dwyer

Wow- thanks all, for the input! Very encouraging! Now all I need to do I guess is scrap and save (although they seem to be about as reasonable as anyone price-wise)!

TubbsTru,

You should plan on attendingthe WTA this year.  Dave is always there with a pile of bows.  You can meet him, look over his bows and go shoot them too.  You could not go wrong there.
