A touch off topic but I wonder how carbon's that were in the Autumn Orange format would sell?

I know for a fact I would by a few dozen AO carbon's if they were offered in the MFX/AXIS line.

Thanks,

Josh

They still have orange with the NASP genesis v2,why not with the other shafts? I miss that color too!  :)

Most of 1818s, 1918s, and 1920 (I really like the 1920s) are AOs. I bought some camo 2018s a few years back and couldn't hit anything with them until  I painted the the end 6 inches bright chartreuse.  For me apparently, it helps if I can see something .

I've got a couple dozen of the 1920's, love 'em. Wish I could find some 2018's. Not real sure if they made them in 2020, but I sure would like some of those to.

It takes me awhile to find something I really like, and that is about the time it gets discontinued. Autumn Orange, Bear broadheads, Bear Magnum Arrows, Bear White tip limbs.....

I am keeping my AO arrows and shafts that I hoarded. I did have 4 doz. AO 2020's that I sold to another Tradgang member. I kept 2 doz. but they are made into hunting arrows. I like the 2020 out of my Pete George longbow. I do remember a magazine writer making fun of the orange shafts, not camouflaged. There was a big deal (still is) that you could not harvest any game unless you were camo down to you underwear. Easton just went along with the trend at that time.

I have to agree it's down fall was the timing of the craze everything had to be in camo. It's all marketing and who knows maybe it will come back around. I gotta to admit I never ever liked alum shafts. It was always wood for me then but now I've switched to carbons and seldom look in the rear view mirrow on arrow shafting.

I think the dumbest looking shaft is the Legacy fake wood grain. I mean, come on, who are they kidding? I only use them for hunting because I think camo shafts look even more rediculous.

For the majority of my shooting I use Blues. Now there's a color you can find behind a target! Nothing fake about it, they're just blue, cheap, and as tough as any other color.

I talked to Easton last year about AO shafts (again).  They will make them up for who every wants them, and I can't remember the number but it was something 5,000 shafts per size and atleast 5 sizes or something like that.  Easton themselves don't think there would be enough demand there to make that a standard shaft to carry again and I don't totally disagree with them either. I wouldn't be suprised if the legacy shaft disappears in a few years.  dino

AO is my favorite and miss them.  I do like the Blues I am shooting now and may buy some Jazz's in the future.  I don't like camo.  Not needed and makes it harder to find your arrow.

Bowmarks, you talking about me while I am off on business?  I pick up AOs whenever I get the chance.  2016s, 2018s, 2020s and the good old 1918s.  I found some 2018 Papes Bark Browns at a shop the other day, another favorite of mine.
