Hoggin On The Mind
« on: December 16, 2012, 10:48:00 AM »
Well deer hunting is over for me this year, Im just letting it go and am actually glad its ending. This was a busy, busy year for me and for the 1st time hunting was a low priority for me.

Not whining, I could of hunted but just didnt have it at the front of my priorities like other years. So,,, whats next? Hogs in the south.  Guess Ill be calling True South or Sugar Ray Hammond soon to set something up. I sure do love swamp hunting and its a great way to get the hunting year off to a good start.

Who else from the Great Noth is planning on some hogs and where are you going?

It sure is on my mind too.  Not sure if I can swing it this year but I think I'll start dropping some hints now and see what kind of feedback I get from the boss  ;)

Jerry, I sure wish I was gonna see you at solana but things just didn't play out this year. Just when I thought there may have been a chance I got wrapped up in a battle between a couple of shady realtors.     :biglaugh:

The tribe will be at Ray's Hog Heaven in February. We're hoping the SIXTH time is the charm. We are certainly due!   :)

Hunting hasn't been a top priority to this Realtor this season, either.  May have been too busy making up lost ground due to clients consuming a large portion of time but not holding up their end of the bargin.  It goes both ways.  Every occupation has their headaches.  When I was a home builder it was subs of certain trades I had the most issues with.  Doesn't mean everyone in that industry is a sheister, though.

It wouldn't be Camp (h)Ambush if we didn't have more of them hanging on that porch than Chuck has in his shop! I say give it a road trip!

I'm gonna have to ask Chuck build me a longbow, and then I'll name it "Ambush" so I can finally join the club
