Anyone hear have any experience with Leon's 3-piece T/D longbow? Considering picking one up and wondered if I could get some feedback first. Oh, and pictures are always a major plus!
Thanks,
Andrew

Great TD and a great bowyer. Do a search on this site there are picks available. He is a sponsor here. Also go to other site and search as well. The 3 piece slammer with a14 inch riser is sweet all the way around. High performance and high accuracy for sure. Call Leon and chat with him you might have one under your tree. tom

The Slammer is an absolutely outstanding RD longbow. I'm a recurve guy at heart and most longbows don't agree with me, but I can shoot the Slammer as well as any curve I have. Great workmanship and Leon is a super guy.

I have a one piece Slammer Special and LOVE it. I have friends who have the 3 piece and I shot that much better (added mass). You will love it! The only thing better than the bow is Leon himself. Do it!

Andrew, Leon makes a great bow, whether a 3-pc. or 1-pc. I have a 3-pc. 66" Slammer (16" riser), that is one of my best shooters. Hits where you're looking. The workmanship of his bows is excellent. Sorry, haven't educated myself how to post pics here.

Andrew,
I have a slammer on order (not a takedown though). We seem to like some of the same bows.

njloco. Love the looks of that slammer. Can you give me the specs. If you dont mind I might order the same bow. I have been a recurve shooter and can never find a longbow that feels or shoots well for me. Every year at Whittingham I pick up his bows and say one of these years I am going to get one because I shoot them as well as my curves. This year I have been doing a lot of overtime and I think I am going to go for it.

I love my Slammer...I think it is one of those bows that" is the one you aint going to part with" thats probably why you dont see them for sell very often..And if Leon has one in stock I'd jump on it as that doesnt always happen either.

I have owned many of Leon's bows and friends with him as well. I shoot his one peice Slammer longbows but I like the mass weight that his take down offers and it's a real hard hitting bow. Highly recommended!
