Would like to see some longbows, if any but recurves would be just fine

Pretty sure that "wood" in Ryan's bow above is Phenolic.

Myrtle limbs.

Mine is Ebony and Myrtle

If you go to the seach tab and type "TallTines" or "Tall Tines" in and search the titles only, you will find LOTS of pictures.

Nathan, No its one of the bucks from last year 2011. This year, I have passed a few nice ones and captured some on film, but have yet to take a deer. There is still time though. Ha! Mike

how is the tall tines customer service,,,, I've been writing and trying to set up a time to call and talk about having a bow made but to no avail,,,, I specifically want a bow with a figured olive riser and Yew over bamboo Limbs (olive vaneers if possible) so maybe thats why but not sure if he's too busy, booked up, bad time of year..

I want to re-check the feedback on these so if anyone has any comments or suggestions can you PM me please.  thanks T

Brian lives in very rural Iowa and it is hunting season so that plays into things.  I have always had good luck with him getting back to me because I leave very specific questions on my messages.  That way he knows what I am trying to find out and can budget time accordingly.  It takes a lot of time out of building bows when you have a dozen calls from guys and no idea what they want.  Multiply that by cell signals from he77 dropping calls all the time and it can get pretty frustrating.

 Hang in there

understood,, he's cool I just didn't want to call at a bad time because I'm sure we need to spend some time on the phone, the bow I want will top all my others..  he did say he's been hunting and I can understand that I just wanted to be sure it wasn't getting crazy with building which I'd then hold off because of experience with other bowyers. the last bowyer I sent money too had to mail it back and cancel my order and refuse any new orders.

Mike,
Isn't that twister? I was looking at him and wondered if it was? Very nice buck but I really likes Shakes....Didn't you have a finished mount pic of both you did? Also this is number two of the "TallTines" recurves isn't it? I remember someone had a Ziricote or Macassar Ebony one with olive ash Burl vaneers but haven't seen that one posted yet... Nice looking bows for sure...Seems those bows have built in "MOJO" cause all I've seen are Big Tall tined bucks taken with them so far...  :archer:

Keefer, I have two TallTines. Yes that picture is the buck we nicknamed Twister.

Here is the finished mounts I did for both bucks last year taken with TT recurve.
Twister

Tree Shaker

Another view of TT bow I hunting with this year. The one on the right.

The 1st pic of the thread is ebony and myrtle. The ebony was so black that it looked like phenolic.
