Connecticut Bow Season ..getting psyched....
« on: August 18, 2007, 05:47:00 PM »
Less than a month away the start of CT bowseason. Starting to get pumped, broadheads getting honed, clothing getting treated with my masking scents, quivers, bows.....God I love this sport! Anyone else getting primed?

Yes Mike....Pink is in again this year. My Dougherty Naturals are partially dipped in pink with either all pink feathers or all chartruese.

My barrel tapered ash are crown dipped 8" in Flo Pink with Chart feathers. Visibility is the key here...Two coats of Montana Pitch blend on the backquiver, Catquiver 3.5 sprayed down, ready to go. Alternating my practice sessions with my Mikuta longbow and Groves Spitfire.

I'll be alternating between hammering Smallmouths and still hunting the early season for whitetails. Every buck I've seen is still in velvet, quite a few does with twins this year. Lets hope everyone has a great year...Mikey...I'm planning on bowhunting your camp this year....maybe I can convince Southpaw and Bamboo to join me.

Chuck...I know. Right now I'm all alone at work and can't get to your home before you hit the sack. I'll swing by when I can and if I see your vehicle, I'll stop in.
