56" centaur ?
«

anyone shoot a 56" that draws over 28"? jim is about to start another one for me and i "really" want a 56"er, as i already have a 60".
problem is i draw close to 29 and jim thinks a sub 45lb bow "might" work. but i figured someone out there has a 56"er they shoot with a longer draw "hopefully" and can convince me it will be fine at my draw?

I wouldn't go any shorter than 58" with your draw. plus the 58"er is a slighty better performer.

My draw is about 28" and i'm contemplating trying to find a 58". I think with your draw a 56er might be to small

i knew i would be safe with the 58" but wanted the shortest bow possible. i also didnt want to make an expensive mistake with a bow thats going load up hard at my draw.
someone posted they shoot a 56" with a 29.5" draw on another thread i found and notice no problem with the bow stacking, which got me thinking..?.

I shoot a 56" Centaur Chimera ,I don't have a problem with my 27" draw length ,no finger pinch and no stack. Consider the possibility of finger pinch with 29" draw length ,and is there a possibility of stack. Jim makes a sweet bow,I'm in for what Jim recommends at 58" , as you said an expensive mistake . Best of Luck,Maxx
