This reminds me of the time a buddy and I found an archery range listed on a paper map of Indianapolis in a park.   It was June and I had on a bright orange T shirt and shorts.  No one else was within sight of us.  It was a very open woods and you could see for a hundred yards or more in all directions.   We found old yardage markers and beat up target sites.  We shot for about an hour when suddenly a sheriff's squad car is blaring at us to come out of the woods.  Apparently, someone saw me and assumed I was "sneaking around" killing squirrels and deer in my bright orange T shirt.  Turns out that the archery course had been closed for years.  The deputy looked at our map, said ok and told us it was not legal anymore to shoot bows in the park we were in and sent us on our way.
